On the Banks of the Old Guyan
Roger Bryant
The
Guyandotte River, which meanders through southern West Virginia,
is rich with mountain history and culture. In this project, Roger
Bryant tells much of the history of the region in song.
One
of the highlights is "The Vixen Of Stratton Street," which
is inspired by the book, The Secret Life and Brutal Death of Mamie
Thurman, by F. Keith Davis.
Enjoy
a dozen unique songs by Roger Bryant - with a touch of bluegrass,
country, and 100 percent Appalachian Mountain music.
