Gandydancer

Founded in 1996 by five already well-established West Virginia musicians, Gandydancer is a traditional music lover's dream.

Gandydancer is Dave Bing, Jim Martin, Gerry Milnes, Ron Mullenex and Mark Payne. Individually they have a wealth of performance experience on stage, television, radio, film, soundtracks, production of films and recordings, as well as workshops, and classes on the music.

With the release of the band's first recording in February 2001, Sing Out! Magazine noted, "Gandydancer, the band, is five WV musicians of high renown and repute in the old time music community who came together in 1996 and simply decided they were having too much fun to give it up. The music is lively and, as befits musicians of this caliber, well performed, with the vocals as interesting as the instrumental…" .
