Joe Dobbs
Plays Old Time Fiddle Tunes
Joe
Dobbs of Hurricane, W.Va., has been a mainstay of Appalachian
music since moving to the Mountain State in 1967.
His
fiddle has been heard on stage and in parking lots of every major
festival in the state. And well beyond West Virginia. Joe has toured
Africa, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Europe performing traditional
folk music.
Recorded
in 1979 at his Fret 'n' Fiddle music store in St. Albans, W.Va.,
this disc brings Joe together with Dennis Dobbs on guitar and Mary
Faith Rhoads on hammer dulcimer and mountain dulcimer.
